Bambusa multiplex ‘Alphonse Karr’
One of the best smaller hedge bamboos. Culms and branches are bright yellow with irregular, longitudinal, narrow, dark green stripes. A dense, clumping bamboo with branches at culm nodes from base to the top. New canes have a pink cast – with age the canes and branches are striped green on yellow.
